I installed linux mce on top of my ubuntu 6.10 dist. The installation went fine but i figure i picked some wrong settings for video card and resolution etc after clicking "start media center" Now whenever i start media center i just get a black screen and have to hit reset... How can i remove mce and start again? or how can i reconfigure my video settings and the like?

thanks

The only way to remove LMCE is to reinstall from scratch, formatting your partition.
Instead of reseting your computer, hit Ctrl-Alt-F7 to see if you can get back to the ubuntu desktop.
Try running the AV Wizard.  sudo /usr/pluto/bin/AVWizard_Run.sh
Look at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.pluto and see if it is using the same driver as in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

That's all I can think of just now.  Some details about your hardware could be helpfull to others.
