after navigating some trouble with installing Linuxmce on my computer (mainly graphicsdriver issues) I tried to configure mythtv. At first no setup showed up, but when it finally did, I was able to configure the DVB-S card and search for stations. However I cannot watch TV. Backend seems to be crashing all the time, all tuners are supposed to be busy. I also cannot access mythweb. I get only an imcomplete webpage, like shown in the screenshot.

On my MD (asrock ion 330) i believe I noticed nouveau drivers, is that correct? I also noticed severe tearing while watching movie. I Tried nvidia-current, but it seems that they are not really supporting this Hardware very well anymore, as linuxmce hangs on building NIS cache

I am running nvidia drivers on my Zotac ION, they detected and installed properly, not sure why they are not for you.  All the ION cards should be fully supported still.

It's not hangning on NIS cache, it's after that but the NIS cache message stays on the display.  I'd have to re-look at the boot process to see what happens next.   First line of defence in booting is to check the LMCE_Launch_Manager screen session for errors.

I'm, I will try once more. To get it running again, i rebuilt the image for the me. Unfortunately now mythtv is not working on this one again. The password is wrong again....but the core is fine
I should just apt-get install nvidia-current?

maverick0815:
well...I tried
Rebooted with AVWizard, but nvidia-current gets thrown out the window
