No Diskless image is included on the 30 Jun DVDs as I was having some size issues on the 1404 DVD.

nVidia installs are working perfectly here on 1204 and 1404.

Hi phenigma,

I can verify that the nvidia drivers are working on 14.04.

I'm going thru some things and am presently building a MD via TBZ.

I include some notes later.

Cheers.

Hi,

I'm installing a Core/Hybrid with a NAS and a MD.

So far,

On initial C/H setup received messages (ConfirmDependencies) failed to get
    - cifs-utils (smbfs)
    - asterisks-perl
    - Linphone Library
    - EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation library

On the C/H during audio setup at Step 6 (DVI video/analog stereo) I received ***No Audio***/Bonus CD with sample audio-tracks was not installed.

On the C/H I had no audio (music) during audio adjustment stage so I popped my audio up to 90%.

Sarah came up with audio.

On the MD (HDMI video/HDMI audio) I received the same "no audio" message, pumped up the volume to 90% and Sarah had no audio.

Once MD was running I went into alsamixer and got HDMI audio running.

NAS came up no problem off Core.

I did not see any Network messages during initial start-up (i.e. Waiting for Network Connections) - hurray!

MD via TBZ came up using precise sources.  Should I try building with utopic via TBZ?

I had some wierdness with having to do cold boots to get things running.

During MD creation on Acer Revo with Win7 on HDD - when booting HDD Win7 tried to run automatic repair and failed.

Fortunately a reboot got the HDD running without any major surgery.

Overall, nothing that couldn't be worked around.

If you want anything looked at - pls. advise.

Cheers
