Whether or not there is a chance to make a TV card work with LinuxMCE is pretty simple. Check if the card is supported by the Linux kernel that we currently have.

It is supported by the kernel 3.3, earlier kernels, including the used one needs the modules xc5000, drxk and em28xx.

If I understand correctly that means it is not possible?

Is there a list somewhere of supported tc-cards by this kernel?

best regards
