Hi All,
Have tried all afternoon to get an image out of an Axis M1011 IP Camera I have tried all the different suggestions from the wiki's and at one stage in the security camera page it came back with a grey screen with the time and a message that the connection to the camera had been lost though after that brief moment it now just comes back with camera screenshot not available

Any help would be much appreciated I am using 810 Final

Regards
Beeker

Do you get an image if you pop the address of your camera into a normal web browser:

http://camerauseridhere:camerapasswordhere@192.168.178.181/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi

where 192.168.... is your camera IP address

Yes I do and I can see live streaming from inside & outside the network, since changing the config and the path again I now have a grey screen with connection lost as per the attached image

I'm running Dianemo S rather than Linuxmce,  so maybe the panels are different,  see my attached screenshot for maybe some clues - see that for user (and password) there are dedicated configuration input fields, and I don't put the full server address/path.

Thank you very much for the tip and screenshot..............after entering the user name and password in the config area it worked perfectly and I have tested it with both of these and they both work

/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi
/mjpg/video.mjpg

Kind regards
