hi all,
first off, let me say WOW...it's amazing to see how far the world of open source has come...now, on to the problem.
when i try to download the software for any of the orbiters, i get 0 byte files that (obviously) don't open or install...does anybody know why this is?  i am using the latest (and greatest) version of linuxmce.  i tried orbiter for ppc (xscale) and windows xp - same problem for both.  any ideas?
thanks

I have the same problem. Also, I couldn't find any .msi files in /usr/pluto/bin. I did find them in /usr/pluto/installers, but they're all zero byte too.

...the latest WinOrbiter from PlutoHome seemed to work like a charm for me...

(I didn't want to wait for Paul or Huh to issue a patch)...

PlutoHome Windows Orbiter:
http://windows.plutohome.com/download/win2000xp/orbiter_2.0.0.44.zip

PlutoHome Orbiter downloads page:
http://plutohome.com/support/index.php?section=packageDownload&pkid=119

*** BUT, Unfortunetely, this only appears to give you the latest .exe, and not all the DLLs and such needed to run the Orbiter.  What I did was take this latest .exe and place it into the directory where I had an older PlutoHome Windows Orbiter installed.  I think that one came from a system installed with the PlutoHome KickStart CDs.

I'm sorry if that seems like it is not much help unless you go through that whole process...but that's what I did to get a working Orbiter on Windows.

I also have the same problem. I have downloaded from two sources, and still have the same problem with both. The checksums are correct. I've noticed that the "pluto-orbiterinstaller_1.0_i386.deb" on both the CDs, I presume this is the installers, is only 2288 Bytes (2.2KB) Mabye there is a problem with this file? I've also tried to manually extract the files from it, but all I get is 0-bytes files.
