Hi

I'm trying to set up a 3 x 2tb raid 5 array.

I've followed the wiki page  http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Create_RAID_in_LMCE and it creates /dev/md0 ok, but after a reboot it is replaced with /dev/md127. and in web admin /dev/md0's status is damaged.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks

Barry

Hmm... I wonder if this point is related:

4. In 10.04, at the moment, a manual fix before reboot seems necessary: sudo mdadm --detail --scan >> /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf

Whoever wrote that forgot to say why that fix is needed.
