What distro is ment for use with LimuxMCE the desktop 6.10 or the server 6.10?

I'm trying to find what i'm missing since my installation wont run as it should.

you will need many packags from the desktop install though from a technical standpoint either should work fine.

It says Desktop - Both would probly work - I am TRYING to use desktop
