I found this on the net: http://www.greenwavereality.com/solutions/led-lighting/
sounds really neat controlling the light via wifi...too bad I can't get it here in germany.

Linuxmce - Where everyone is never wrong, but we are always behind xbmc in the media / ui department.

Really cool. I'll have to watch for prices to get more into my range....but can think of many fun ways to use.

We have found a more cost effective LED / LED color solution, so hopefully I get my hands on a dev kit soon and we can integrate it as well. Im having to learn the innards of dce to create the proper setup (right now, hue requires web admin  :-\ ) but working to improve on screen setup.

What is this new potential solution?
I was leaning towards Hue as they will shortly have GU10 bulbs.

thanks,
-Coley.

This is a good review of the current state of play in connected lighting; http://www.ellipticalcurve.com/2014/10/the-smart-lighting-battle-smartlighting/

Belkin are the latest entrant in this market. They look to have some nice solutions too.

All the best
