Hi,

Testing 1004 :-) 20120623 build.

There is no "Mythtv setup" below "computing" anymore (as described here http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/MythTV#Setting_up_MythTV_in_LinuxMCE).
Also not in KDE below settings as described here : http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/PcHDTV_HD5500

So do we just call the script on the shell ? (I don't remeber the name at the monent, but will find out ;-) )

Is 1004 using VDPAU as default ?

Regards

The problem was that there was no MythTV installed !?
After choosing VDR in the System Setup and then waiting for it to install, then again shifted back to MythTV then it was installed.

Then
http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php/topic,12520.msg88971.html#msg88971

After you get the desktop up, Klick K > Applications > System Settings > mythtv-setup

But maybe when one select video it should tell one what to do. That would be nice for the first-timers ;-)

You should NOT setup myth from the desktop. I was going to tell you that it was not installed.

VDPAU is selected in web admin/media director.

Hi,

just for the next having this problem. In my installation the Setup wizard crashed when changing the room names. So if that also happens in your case.  Better start over with the installation.

VDR is not removed and they are now both there. VDR was running and therefore it had it's hands on the DVB-s card. Causeing some trouble ;-)
