Hi all,

I came across the following problem: I have a couple of DVDs with multiple movies on it. I ripped them to ISOs and copied them to the core. In Media File Sync I entered the different titles as media attributes, so it looks something like this:

Attributes:
   Genre   Children
   Title   The Polar Express
   Title   Disneys A Christmas Carol

Now when I go to my media browser it only shows me the last title in the list, in this case I only can find "A Christmas Carol" in my list of movies. It will not show "The Polar Express". How ever when I use the search function on "The Polar Express" it shows up as a title and also brings me to the correct ISO file.

Is there any way to let Media Browser show these multiple titles?

Kind regards,
Reint.

If it is sorted by anything but filename it does show all titles.

Hi Posde,

Thanks for your answer. This would be the exact behavior I was expecting. However, I checked this out and sorting by File name gives me the obvious ISO files. But when I sort by Title it definitely gives me only the last Title And not the other titles I filled out  Huh

Just verified.

For me, adding a title will show both titles as a single item. i.e. if 1st title is World and 2nd title is Garden, the display in the list is World - Garden

For Performers it does work as expected by me, i.e. two entries, one for World and one for Garden.

Hi Posde,

Thanks for keep looking in to this. I tried it with another DVD, which I ripped longer ago, and with this one it works exactly as you describe and as I would expect.

I digged a little deeper and I think I found the problem, however I don't know how this is solvable. I found out that the system makes a whole bunch of id3 files for just the one dvd, with weird names like:

World_and_Garden.iso
World_and_Garden.iso.id3
World_and_Garden.iso.id3.XbagN3
World_and_Garden.iso.id3.FGrLn1

...and so on...

When I rename the ISO file to .dvd and I take the id3 file and rename it corrispondingly , it picks up just the one title: World. So the rest of the attributes must be in the other id3 files Huh

Thanks,
Reint.
