yes the association did not work.
An association between two AC units DID work though. I read something in the logs about "delayed" (because the DC device is not always listening). But to associate, I needed to activate the unit by triple click it so I don't understand...

if it is a sleeping device you need to either send a node info frame (e.g. triple press on the merten remote switches) or wait for it to wake up (if the wake up configuration is set properly)
