Hi,

those two systems are different in many details, so I think it would be good to separate Dianemo specific discussions into separate board not to confuse all other less experienced users...

Can we make new Dianemo board under LinuxMCE ?   I think it would be better for all of us.

I just found out that I can do it - but would still like to hear other member's opinions.

Regards,

Bulek.

Hi bulek,

I suggested the same thing just yesterday Smiley, but Andrew has a pretty well thought-out point of view on this. It's important to keep the community together, even though the two system have their differences. A huge part of the technology is still the same.
His suggestion was to clearly mark a question as Dianemo-centric, and just use these boards. I personally do not mind, and think he's right about keeping it together.

I agree,

I'll put [Dianemo] in Subject if it will be specific to Dianemo.

I think that would be a good idea too, since there is really only one page now, I think. It's a valuable page with loads of information, but as time goes by, I am sure it will be difficult to find what you need there!

I think the idea for separate pages in the wiki for Dianemo would only confuse things. My preference would be to use the current wiki pages which are specific to a device and use the versioning status bar at the top with Dianemo Specific instructions in the detials.

Placing Dianemo in the subject on the forum is a great idea.

Re-reading my earlier post i see it sounds a bit misleading.

What i meant to say was just putting [Dianemo S] in the subject of a forum post is a great idea.
