I have a bunch of MCE remote receiver/transmitters. Does the transmitter part of this work with linuxmce or is the USBUIRT the only thing that works. I'd rather use thes that have to spend 50 bucks each for 3 usbuirts.

Thanks,
Kevin

All of my MCE transmitters work dandy. I have 3 different kinds. My main one is the phillips that comes with all kinds of things. Blasters are another issue for that one. I had frankly forgotten it has them. Now that I know more I should look into that. The other two I have are cheap small Chinese thingies that either I bought for < $10 or came with something weird.

I have a MCE remote hooked up to my bedroom MD and the blaster works as expected in LMCE 8.10 =)

The only thing I have to blast at is a newer TV, it may indeed blast, and I just don't have the right codes. Haven't fooled with it in a very long time.
