Hi all,

After a long time of learning and drawing, i proudly present to you a new skin for LinuxMCE: BlueCrystal.
A Big thanks to the people who helped me with this: TSCHAKeee, possy, golgoj4, merkur2k and DragonK (and everybody who i might have left out)

I made a UI1 and a UI2 version.
The skin will be available on 810 and 1004 (and versions to come).
To use the skin, first upgrade/update your LinuxMCE install.
Then log into your webadmin, select 'Orbiters' and for each orbiter you want to use the BlueCrystal skin, select it from the Skin-dropdown menu.
Below are a few screenshots, for more screenshots you can look at:

Enjoy,
Br,

Raymond

For some reason I always disliked the numpad. Has nothing to do with the skin, but it seems so just stick some buttons some where.
Oh well back to the beer.

Looks awesome, thanks alot!

Canīt get it to work on 810 though. New fresh install from 8.10 final DVD and trying to update&upgrade, got the error and using the solution discussed here:http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php/topic,12091.0.html

Did update sqlCVS in webadmin and the BlueCrystal skin is available in the drop-down list on the orbiter page. If I select the bluecrystal skin the orbiter falls back to the basic skin.

Any hints of how to solve this?!

It may be that BlueCrystal's package has not been pushed to 0810.

Hi,

For take the skin I use:

Code:
sudo apt-get install lmce-skins-*

because with
Code:
sudo apt-get upgrade
don't download the package.

Great job, it's very beautiful, I use this in my 17" touch screen, and with my HTC Desire HD.

Same behavior on 1004 after an upgrade (attempting to get this skin). Even crushed (windows) orbiter and created a new one. Will play around and figure out why. Will add some MDs as well.

It is caused by a missing dependency which needs to be dealt with in the package database. I will investigate and fix.

Understood.

For now, apt-get install lmce-skins-bluecrystal fixes it.

Yeah... I am on 1004 atm

If you just CAN'T wait till it is folded in... you should be able to
Code:
wget http://deb.linuxmce.org/ubuntu/dists/lucid/beta2/binary-i386/lmce-skins-bluecrystal_2.0.0.45.11121525259_i386.deb
dpkg -i lmce-skins-bluecrystal_2.0.0.45.11121525259_i386.deb

I don't think there are any dependency issues... but I have no idea what will happen.
