[SOLVED] HDHomeRun and LMCE 1004 and MythTV
« on: November 20, 2011, 10:22:11 pm »
Anyone successfully running this combo?

* HDHomeRun detects ok, everything shows up in the device tree as normal.
* MythTV setup sees the tuners, channel scan finds my usual 13 OTA stations (with 90%+ signal quality).
* Filldatabase downloads all the proper EIT guide data

BUT, in the front-end, all the channels show 15%-30% signal strength. UI seems to lag out sporadically and Orbiter occasionally reports that   the backend has died and needs to be reset.

Any ideas?

From the backend log:

Code: [Select]
2011-11-20 16:23:18.808 TVRec(1): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
2011-11-20 16:23:18.816 TVRec(1) Error: Start channel invalid, setting to '9_1' on input MPEG2 instead.
2011-11-20 16:23:18.823 ChannelBase(1): IsTunable(MPEG2TS,9_1) Requested non-existant input 'MPEG2TS':'-1'

I had only been using one of the tuners (#0). Left out tuner 1 from the myth config all-together, yet somehow it was trying to pull the signal from tuner 1 (something is crossed somewhere!). Solved it by feeding the same signal to both tuners (Y-splitter).
