Forgive me if this has already been asked but I couldnt find anything when searching!

I have a projector hooked up to my hybrid on the VGA port.
LMCE is set to display on the DVI port and works fine.

However When I wan to watch movies I want to use my projector!
Should I change my nvidia settings to not use twinview and have both displays the same!!

P.S. How the hell do I turn off subtitles!!

Thanks again for the excellent help

Regarding subtitles:
1) are they separate files or embeeded?
2) which kind of video files? (.mkv, .avi, .mpeg)

LinuxMCE does not currently have any built-in support for multiple displays.  You must have a separate MD for each display.

Embedded and the file type is .mkv (renamed as .m2ts)

Is there not some way he could clone the display? Essentially have the video output on both the monitor and projector at the same time?

The simplest way would be to use a video splitter on the MD's output and use the same connector type & resolution on both the normal TV display and the projector. Then use rs232 or IR to power off/on the display that is not in use when appropriate.

All the best

Just ordered a splitter, seems the easiest way to deal with dual monitors not being supported!!

Thanks for all the suggestions

I'm having this same problem though I'm leaving my MKV named .mkv so Xine is playing it. I've set gui.subtitle_autoload:0 in both /etc/pluto/xine.conf and /root/.xine/config. Anything else I should check?
