Hello there,

i'm looking forward to try LinuxMCE and start building a connected home. But i have a question, i already red that i need a nvidia card. So i wondered why do i need one for the core pc, which is acting as server only? I have a AMD E350 with integrated graphic card and wanted to use it as my server, so can't i do just everything with shell access to the server?

That should be fine, just make sure you choose the first graphics option (UI1) when doing the initial setup. Once that's done, you can disable AutoStartMedia in "/etc/pluto.conf" if you're happy with just command line.

Cheers,
Matt.
