Contact writer(s)
« on: August 13, 2012, 03:40:21 pm »
Hey,

It would be maybe nice if we can contact the (original) author of a manual.

Fe i'm trying out the EIB module for the moment. http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/EIB/KNX. I see that the person who wrote this, tried the 'input' module. But i can't get it working. So i would like to send him a small message to have additional info. Of course, i could use the forum, but maybe it's interesting to send a link of the topic to the original author as well?

Or am i looking wrong...

There's a messaging system in the Wiki,... don't know if it's tied to the LinuxMCE forums, but it's probably tied to their email address, unless they set it not to message them.
See my User page on the LinuxMCE Wiki for a description of my system configuration (click the little globe under my profile pic).

With the input module, i mean reading the 'light switches/buttons' in the EIB setup. In the meantime, this problem is solved. I had a problem with that my 'button' i configured in LinuxMCE didn't had the flag 'SEND' in ETS. Still having some issues with the group adresses and so. I'm totally lost with all x/x/x's and y/y/y's... Is it me? Or bad documentation tools?  :-X
Once everything is working like it should i'll update my manual page and also publish it in the wiki's...

But this topic was more to improve the wiki way of working. ;)
