Hello I asked this question to the support people and they didn't seem interested in helping me so I will ask the forum.  I have two DID's configured ringing the same extension.  One of the DID's when called you can hear the phone ringing.  On the other one you hear dead air until someone picks up.  Any ideas where to look for this problem.  I am pretty weak in Asterisk.

Hi,

I'm afraid that there is no other options than getting more familiar with Asterisk.
I have some experience but not with DIDs.

For a start, you can follow and post /var/log/asterisk/full log, when this happens.

Maybe we will see something..

regards,

Rob.
