Can an USB camera, using the Motion Wrapper, be used as a security sensor, which also triggers alerts? I only have a camera in my testing environment, and don't have movement sensors... Sad

Yes it can. I'm using it regularly....

You need to have /dev/videox and then specify it as Motion Wrapper analog camera child device...
