WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! Life is freaking good now.  I figured out how to create the ISO and I am the SHIT!!!!!!!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  now 100 more DVD's to convert, I love this THANG!!!!

No, you should be able to play those as well, as long as you have a dir structure like a DVD, i.e. /home/public/video/The_Return_Of_The_Ape/VIDEO_TS and have all the stuff in the VIDEO_TS folder.

This is from memory, so I am not 100% certain that it works, but I am quite positive about it.

Im not too sure about that.   I always rip my dvd discs to an iso format.  I believe if your directory is a rip of a dvd, there has to be a program to build an iso image from that directory to make an image.

I had a folder with all the files in it and could not get it to play.  Once converted to ISO renamed .DVD, all worked fine.

If you still have the directory structure, I'd appreciate a small diagram detailing the structure of VIDEO_TS etc that did not work. If possible using ls -lra
