Trying to keep it simple and centralized...

Hey,

When i'm trying one of the latest versions (24147 & 24164), the installation stops almost directly into a prompt 'initramfs'. The only thing i can choose is the language and the next question (linuxmce, kubuntu...). I tried linuxmce or kubuntu, but both give the same result.
When i take an old version (fe 24012), the installation starts without any problem.

Any idea what goes wrong?

Couldn't find the 24164-2nd.
So i tried it with the 24161-2nd. But this fails as well.

Now downloading the 24164 (the normal / first one?). And will try it with that one.
Hope this one will go, almost through my empty dvd's...  Lips sealed

ps the USB-keyboard isn't working on all the latest versions for me. But a PS works..

In my case asterisk and mythtv did not install properly with this snapshot, tried several times over several days. Downloading 24164 to try next.

I wish I'd checked the sources.list on my botched installs; saw a post about that recently.

Cheers,
Matt.

I can verify that 24189 fails for me as well. Still working on getting it installed.

I had an issue with my network driver not mainlined in the 8.10 kernel.

*My status may say first post, but I am Ubuntu Savvy (Server clusters, car computer, etc.)*

24234 got past the initial screens and made it to the formatting of my harddrive before failing out on a grub-install failure on HD0 if I remember correctly.  I see that 24237 is now post- anyone try this one? If not, I may try tomorrow (7/21) and post similar to this.  I know the wiki is there for a reason, but I can't get 24098 to install either...  just bought a new dvd cake, so currently at 99 left.

LinuxMCE-8.10-24234-i386.iso works
No drops to ititramfs

Installs correctly didn't update the wiki yet.

Will now test LinuxMCE-8.10-24237-i386.iso

Keep in mind the deb.linuxmce.org was offline yesterday so installations weren't possible anyway.
