No Z-Wave Control
« on: July 12, 2011, 01:49:17 am »
Hi  all,  I have a linuxmce 8.10 system with a Intermatic HA-22 usb controller and a HA-07 remote.  I am able to control lighting with the controller without any problems.  I am able to copy the network settings into LMCE and the lighting arrangement is on the device tree.  I have 6 lighting controls and they all show up.  Also on the device tree there is 8 Z-Wave controllers listed also.  I try to control the lighting and nothing happens.  The lighting modules will not respond to any commands issued from the admin page or anywhere.  The HA 07 controller works just fine.  Am I missing something here?
Thanks,
Randy

Hi Hari,
Hope that I have the correct logs for you now.  I really appreciate your help.

from the log it looks like your dongle might be too far apart from the other devices.. would you mind to describe the physical layout of your network a bit?

I have my LMCE system in a equipment room upstairs.  About 6 feet from the dongle is a dimmable lamp module think it is 14.  I then have another lamp module that is dimmable downstairs about 20 feet away and four other modules on and off type switches in the same receptacle that control outdoor lighting.  These are another 20 feet away from the lamp module that is downstairs.  The HA 07 is able to turn all of these modules on and off when placed next to the dongle.  Hope this helps.

please enable log levels 40 + 41, then do a quick reload and provide the complete z-wave log, not just a fragment (i need to see the device startup and other things)
