First off after reading the wiki and the form I am hooked.  I was looking into a friendly way to serve and store media throughout the house that the wife and kid could understand.  First I was looking at using a WMC with a Windows Media Server, it was ok but very limited, them I stumble across the WMC vs. LinuxMCE.  Now I am planning home automation and everything else that LinuxMCE has to offer.

Being new to Linux I do not understand the alot of the commands, but I need to learn.  What would be the best route to learn?  I will have my core this weekend and will begin the install and adding my HTPC as a MD to start.  Then I will venture to home automation using Z-wave products.

I would to be able to understand what is going on, not just point, click, it works, yeah me.

Thank-you in advance for your advice and this wonderful program.  I look forward to adding to the community in the future.

Cheers,
Ron

Did you get them from lmcecompatible.com or did you source them elsewhere?
