Mega Drive/Genesis support will be added via the Game Player at some point. (along with Super Famicom/NES, and PCEngine/Turbografx16)

I am intrigued. You can already change to the correct channel and adjust the volume - what other functionality will the Mega Drive/Genesis support bring?

Cheers,
Matt.

I wonder if the original controllers could be hacked to work with this stuff?

there are various adapters for vintage controllers around, if you look for them. I know of the Stelladaptor for attaching Atari sticks, for example. (It's on my list at some point to test and add specific support for, but there are many other things avalanching my time)
