Hello,

I'm working on a Antec Fusion case with an integrated VFD-display and I can't figure out howto add support for it...
It is supported in LCD Proc 0.51 and works in Mythtv

Questions;

1) Can I add LCDProc into Pluto?
2) Should I add it as a LCD/VFD peripherial devices?
4) What more steps do I need to get it working?

Thanks for an interesting software!

Hello again,

I have downloaded and tried to install Lcdproc-0.5.1-3 (wget a .deb package), which is the version needed to support IMON devices.
But I'm stuck now, I also need to upgrade libusb, libncurses and libc6 to a newer unstable version, and can't find out howto...
I'm used to Gentoo but Debian are another thing.

Please, a quick help would be very helpful.

Is not wise to download and install deb packages not suited for debian sarge on pluto. My advice is for you to download the source and build it by hand on a pluto sytem using configure & make & make install.

We have several lcd / vfd implementations also.  See IRTrans and Media_Live_LCDButtons (MSI's new reference design) for examples

That's good but iMon is very popular solution to embed into case. I also have iMon IR/VDF display in Silverstone LC21M but I didn't manage to work it yet.

Hi,

I'm going to use iMon too. Here is a couple of useful link which I found but didn't use yet:
1. Linux drivers for Soundgraph USB iMON IR/VFD - http://venky.ws/projects/imon
2. LIRC iMON Patches - http://brakemeier.de/electronics/vdr/lirc-imon.html
3. Another iMon patches - http://vorticon.no-ip.info/pub/patches/
