Starting a new thread for this. Motherboard is ASUS AT3IONT-I (atom 330 ION, 2 gigs of RAM).

Had it working once using standard procedure for unrecognized NIC. In my stupidity, I deleted the image, and now the same steps won't make it work again.

The MD now COMPLETELY locks up on the Kubuntu loading screen (this is after I have done the last part of the guide, where I copy the r8168 module over to the diskless filesystem; up until this part it seems fine).

Does something get messed up when you delete MDs? Or does something remain behind that stops the same MD from working again?

Cheers,
Matt.

The answer is "no" - unrecognised NIC still. Search forum for this board and you'll see what I was doing wrong.
