I was trying to turn a Dell Dimension 9150 into a Pluto machine - it seems that the older Debian installer on the Kick-Start CD doesn't support Serial ATA, and has problems with this Dell motherboard.

So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a motherboard that will take this LGA 775 processor, and a RAID controller that will work with these SATA drives? I'd prefer to go with a 3ware RAID controller. I bought a larger case with a big power supply.

The Dell has a 3.0G Pentium D, and 2x256mb of DDR2-667 PC2-5300, 240pin DIMM.

If someone out there is using a motherboard that fits these specs, please let me know.

Thanks,
7
