UPDATE: I copied over the /user/pluto/diskless/usr/pluto/bin/nvidia-install.sh with the one from the core and it worked, even though I had some issues with the screen going black because it couldn't set the display source correctly, but I clicked around and managed to get vga going.

Going to install my projector now.. Smiley. Perhaps I'll buy some z-wave to control climate... and who knows from there. Smiley Great product when it works Smiley (like always ). Thanks for this forum and for you who answer, whithout this it would be 10 times as hard (at least)

Cheers. /Per

Hi All,

Finally got my Core/Hybrid installed in the right place and got a MD in the livingroom,
Core is running fine.

MD: asus K8V SE deluxe with 3200+; 1gig and a nvidia 6600GT; connected through component to 32" CRT-tv

I did a sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade on 21-1-2011 (i think) followed with /usr/pluto/bin/Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh.

after i boot-up the md it creates the md but for some reason installs the nvidia 173 driver end keeps in an endless reboot.

i changed the nvidia-install.sh in /usr/pluto/bin so it matches changeset 23588 and 23635
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/changeset/23588
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/changeset/23635
deleted the MD and let it pxe-boot again...still it installs nvidia 173 and gets into a endless reboot,

often, but not always, i get a message that there has been a kernel panic right after the Kubuntu splash-screen.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

br,
Raymond

Ok, i got it fixed Smiley

i was editing:
/usr/pluto/bin/nvidia-install.sh

but the one i had to edit was:
/usr/pluto/diskless/XX/usr/pluto/bin/nvidia-install.sh (where XX is your MD number)
i made the changes according to:
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/changeset/23588
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/changeset/23635

just would let you guys know,

br,
Raymond
