Hi,

I'm spotting sever instability of my MD that is connected over local LAN (2 switches on the way) to hybrid. I know that there are certain instabilities in Xine, nfs or maybe even somewhere else, but I cannot play most of video files (that were rock solid) on my MD anymore - I jsut often get freeze with no apparent traces in logs.

I suspect that there might be something wrong with my lan, since pings give me occasional sporadical higher values (20 ms for instance).

Any convenient SW way of putting my local lan to stress test and rule this cause out of my problems equation ?

Thanks in advance,

regards,

Rob.
