okey I am afraid to ask for the support since I have installed flash manually.

I setup Lmce from snapshot 23589. create and MD image and saw that youtube was missing flash player. so I downloaded installer.deb from adobe on MD's desktop. ssh into MD and ran dpkg -i installer.deb and I got my youtube videos working.

after that I installed Hulu follwoing wiki's instructions from MD's software module edit tab.

Now when clicking hulu from orbiter , I have a message saying

"version 0.9.8 is now available."

Hope someone helps.

Thank you.

for now, go ahead and get the latest hulu desktop from labs.hulu.com, and use dpkg to install it.

Thom,

does it make sense to include this into an update mechanism? And if yes, any idea how to do it, other than copying the deb regularly into our repo, which I don't know the legal implications about.

i have been thinking on this since i released the hulu stuff...and it scares me that it would involve something like grabbing the hulu package once a day, checking it, and if it's different downloading it. ... I...really....don't wanna do that.... especially when it hits everybody else's install....

*deep-breath* anybody have any ideas?

how about copying the deb over to our repo manually, whenever the need arises?
