Joakim,

due to the time difference betwen your initial checkin and now, there is quite discrepancy between your codes. Take a look at
http://schema.linuxmce.org/sqlCVS/?site=batch/view, select the IR repo, and look at your checkins. Compare the FK_Manufacturer. Do you think the information is correct? And if you think the info is wrong, please tell me, what the FK_Manufacturer should be.

Hmm, I realise next time I'll do an update before creating a new template... ;-)

Anyway, the FK_Manufacturer should be 1149. The description says Tellstick2 but that was just a name I used when still experimenting. Can you change it to Tellstick USB RF controller which is the name in my database.

The batch -76 is wrong, it contains old experimental code with lots of hard coded stuff in it.
The other 5 in the IR group seems to be OK.
The 3 original DCE checking from the 7th are OK, except for using the old Device template ID.

JoakimL,

could you do a sqlCVS diff locally for your IR and DCE repo, and see, if the device points to 1149 or to 8xx FK_Manufacturer? (no checkin of the diff, just see what the diffs are).

I've tried but I'm unsure if I do it right. I execute Advanced|sqlCVS|Diff from my core, select the DCE and IR groups. It takes a minute or two and then I get "No changes. Try again".

OK.

If you go into the device template for the Tellstick on your machine, what manufacturer does it show?

Joakim,

it seems as if your DeviceTemplate data is nowhere to be found. The IR Group is ok, as well as the manufacturer, but I can't find any mentioning of the tellstick in DeviceTemplate.

Please create a new template, and use the InfraredGroup you've created. But before doing that, do a sqlCVS update of your IR repo.

OK. I'll retry. Good thing, this time (3rd time) I have a local copy of the Ruby code. And it's now with dimmer support.

No news yet, sorry for that. Something is broken in my development environment, resulting in syntax errors outside of my code. I'll try to mend this in the coming days.
Be patient, it will be available, and I got the dimming to work before the development environment broke down.
