I broke something and I need some help..

Hey all thanks for reading this, and thank you all for all the hard work..
I was trying to get hulu player up and running I followed this

and well updated the sqlCVS like it said to I rebooted and now all I have is a courser and a black screen. Normally I would just start over, but I've already put too much time in to this. setting up settings and media and the such I don't want to have to start over if their's a fix.

after hours of trying to load recovery, and trying to rebuild. I finally fixed my problem. Loading run level 2, just kde I think it's ro2, any way... I was able to get in and do a sqlCVS on all the options in the web interface. a reboot later and a apt-get update / upgrade every thing was working again..
