PXE boot won't work
« on: November 04, 2010, 12:07:39 am »
Hey you guys,

When I PXE boot the MD everything seems to be working fine during the initial stages.
Then afterwards when the Kubuntu progress bar is showing, it will move twice and stop completely .
Do you have any suggestions because I'm out. Tried adding driver to modules and rebuilding image on core, didn't work.
Any help would be welcome.

System hardware core:

Centrino core2 duo
756mb dram (512+256)
60 GB hd
100mbit network

System hardcore MD:
Foxconn NT330i
1gb ddr2 ram
120 gb hd

Regards,

Chris

Yeah I thought so as well but I already followed every step there. In the beginning I had a kernel panic which I solved by following the steps in http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Unrecognized_NIC post. Now after I boot everything seems to be working fine but when the Kubuntu progress bar is showing, it will move twice and stop completely

Try to turn ACPI off. Also try to boot without splash screen so you can see what happens.
See wiki of shuttle x50 v2, I described. Sorry I cannot provide you with link, but I am lazy :)
