IP Cameras and motion wrapper
« on: August 19, 2010, 11:04:30 pm »
I'm playing with adding multiple IP cameras to my system and have one camera happily working (thanks DragonK!). I've added a second camera with the same setup as a second child of the Motion Wrapper but I can't get it to work. Does each camera need its own motion wrapper?

Hi Blaine,

Only one motion wrapper required. You are doing it right, second ip camera should be a child of the same motion wrapper.

I have had four cameras working as children of motion wrapper. Check your ip address is accessible. Are your cameras using dhcp or static ip? I've got some on-going dhcp problems with my cameras.

Thanks Barney, I did a reboot and regen orbiters and now it works. As usual my patience was not sufficient!
