USB Capture Card supported by LMCE
« on: August 05, 2010, 04:03:27 am »
Hi Guys

I have finally got my core working like a train on steroids on my ASRock 3300 ION box.
I have my phone line setup and a Web orbiter with the new Web orbiter 2.
thanks a lot for your guys help and hats off to the devs..

I want to ask for some help on getting a device that will one work in LMCE and do what I need it to.
I have a NZ Sky myHDi PVR satellite box that I want to connect to LMCE. This box has no RF out puts so makes is hard. I was trying to find info on if I can use my old Slingbox but that is shitt cause we can't get the stream out of it.
I don't need a TV card cause I have my HDhomeRun. So I was more looking for a USB capture card.
Because of the small form of the ASRock I cant install a PCI card, need a USB one.
Can anyone recommend one that will work out of the box with LMCE?

As I know the easyCAP DC60+  works on Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx). You can try to setup it under 0810.
