Hi,

since I'm using Asterisk a lot, I'd like to give some pointers that could be useful - but you probably already know all of these:
- web configuration  - there is quite interesting project going on for web configuration interface - it is made for newbies - http://amp.coalescentsystems.ca/

Currently it is under heavy development but next release will probably be more than enough for use under Pluto.

I'm suggesting this cause I see Pluto also in Small company environment that has some higher demands on VOIP telephony. Unfotunately it's made for stable version, but it seems like running under HEAD too.

I saw that you're using Asterisk with Realtime for extensions, but there could be some other usefull stuff in AMP, like recording prompts, call routings, ....

- FOP (Flash operator panel) - www.asternic.org
Very useful as operator panel and also as control tool. It has client and server written in Perl & ming and maybe it's good base to do something similar with Pluto floorplans...

Regards,

Tinia.

Asterisk Management Portal is implemented in Pluto. Go to Advanced Tab -> Configuration -> Phones Setup.

Hi,

thanks for info. Original post is dated over a year ago. It was at that time, when Asterisk didn't yet have any AMP under Pluto .....

Rob.

FYI,
AMP project has been renamed and revamped.
freePBX has tons of new features and is modular.

I agree. AMP is a little outdated and FreeBPX would be a nice addition.
