Actually that was the problem there is no error message, after it install Kubuntu and reboot, now you need to do the update &  dist-upgrade, here you get "Zero packages to update", then you double click LinuxMCE icon on the desktop, then it will take few minutes instead the normal ~30 minutes, and it will shows it is DONE and ask you to reboot, after reboot you get the terminal login prompt instead of the AV Wizard.

So after installing Kubuntu you need to apply the fix then do "apt-get update"  "apt-get dist-upgrade" if it ask you at the end to run it with -f switch then do "apt-get -f dist-upgrade" then you double click the "LinuxMCE icon" and you should be all set.

When you install, you used the "install linuxmce" option, also the last option.
It installs kubuntu prepped for linuxmce, after that you reboot, and click the linuxmce icon.
You do not need to do any updates, it will do it automaticly.

Ok, I reinstalled the snapshot (23165) the 6th time and nothing connected to the core except the ethernet cables, this time I did not update anything in the KDE, I clicked LinuxMCE Icon on the desktop, it installed linuxmce, rebooted and I got the AV Wizard then Sara after that when completed Sara I couldn't continue it stuck at "task and cannot be reloaded right now: General Info Plug-in" so I force it then I got the main LinuxMCE screen after that I powered down the Hybrid and it tried to install MythTV-plugin for 10 minutes then 'xmltv utils' for 20 minutes and got the black screen with the white cursor and that it.

Can someone tell me what did I miss here !!!

Try your 7th install, and this time do not force it, but go for a leisurely walk outside, and wait.

I had no problems installing this snapshot.
In the sarah-wizard and you chose mythTV, some packages are not download properly, but that is repaired later on.

posde,
My last walk was about 40 minutes before I force it, I'll take this time longer walk, and I'll let you know.

Thanks.

That seems quite long. Depends on hardware of course.

bongowongo,
I have a dual core CPU, this time I'll pay more attention on the elapsed time for every step, and I'll capture all logs.

Here's trial number "7" this time it worked but noticed different behavior:
1) While editing Rooms names first time in the House setup it kicked me out directly to Media Player setup, after I finished the setup I got the main screen
2) From the main screen I went to setup wizard and while editing Rooms names second time in the House setup it kicked me out directly to Main screen, the third time I was able to edit all rooms names
3) In trial "6" when I received "General info plug-in" busy message, there was no activity on the top left screen after approximtly 30-40 minutes I had to force the exit, on trial "7" I saw the top left window with the SW installation activity and it did finish in about 10 minutes

Here's some timing for reference:
From clicking the install icon on the desktop to install LMCE to completion it took "45 minutes" during the 45 minutes there is 15 minutes just for "cleaning build area"
After completing the Sarah setup wizard and from the "General info plug-in" busy message till completion is about "10 minutes"
