Andrew

Yes I am, I had a problem running apt-get update and apt-get upgrade earlier in the thread.
No updates available, but that was fixed. There was about 150mb of updates.
Before the update:
Certain files for weborbiter 2.0 wasnt in /var/www/lmce-admin/
             The folder /var/www/lmce-admin/weborbiter/ was missing
Weborbiter refreashed every 5secs which indicates I was still on Weborbiter 1

After the update all of that was there.
could it maybe be a file that im missing? Maybe my weborbiter.php is incorrect? Can I manually download all the files again from somewhere?

Thnx for all the advice thus far.

Andrew,

Got it working on a Nintendo DSi, was certainly usable.

Wiki has been updated.

Cheers,
Matt.

As allways thank you very much for the work. I am trying now to get my Eken M002 up and running and what I noticed is that when changing from one resolution to the other, regenerating the orbiter in question and performing a quick reload I have seen the lower bar of buttons disappear a number of times. Sometimes a reboot helps, something another full regen and quick reload does the job? When I do a full regen all followed by a quick reload some of my weborbiters seem to be affected will others are not  ???

as an example a screencopy of my weborbiter on my laptop

Andrew,

I've removed the weborbiter again from the admin webpage. Did another apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.
Rebooted the core. Reinstalled the web orbiter as per the Wiki. Followed it step by step.

But still all I get is the flying penguin. If I hold the mouse pointer over it, a tooltip comes up "waiting for info"
Can I manually install the web orbiter?
I really want to get it working, but it seems i'm hitting a wall here....  ???

Hi Matt,

Hey thats great :-)... very cool indeed!

I think it would be great see some pics added to the wiki page of the WO running on the DSi (and any of the other hardware people have success with too)

Thanks for working on the DSi :-)

All the best

Hmmm...it maybe that your proxy_orbiter's are not reloading correctly sometimes. I'm back in the office tomorrow (on vacation still) and will discuss this with Uplink to see what he thinks. Thanks.

Do you only have a single Web Orbiter configured on your system? Are you accessing the same Web Orbiter from more than one web browser, device or possibly from multiple tabs?

What I notice is that sometimes when pressing a button repeatedly the icon sometimes disappears, leaving a big black hole, that gets repaired after the next command or a refresh. Seen this behavior especially on the light and volume buttons.
Have seen this behavior on the orbiter of the 7970 as well .

This is a known problem with proxy_orbiter.

Thanks...reporting problems is 'good' :-)...keep doing it! Its an important feedback loop for us and anyone else who is trying to improve the code or add to or enhance the Web Orbiter.
