Currently I'm getting 100 channels from my cable company (because I refused to upgrade to digital, their just sending that many analog channels over my internet line free.) I realize this is strange but it means that I definitely need to get an analog card working. I just though I'd get that out of the way because when I asked on irc I was just told that analog wasn't worth it =)

So now I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 which LinuxMCE recognizes and I have setup with the Setup assistant. The problem is that IVTV never installed and while MythTV Setup found the card and downloaded channels from SchedulesDirect it always gives an "all inputs are being used, but their is no video" error or crashes.

I would really like to figure this out so thanks to whomever can help!

Ok I went into web admin and then into Myth Setup and deleted both tuners. Then I restarted the core and it hangs trying to install IVTV; eventually it moves on, but whenever I restart the core or reload the router it tries to install IVTV again.

As always thanks for any help!

OK the problem is definitely IVTV not installing. I reinstalled the whole system (because of a bad hard drive) using the latest snapshot and it's still saying getting IVTV failed. Is there a problem with the repositories?
