I have LinuxMCE running in my home but only as MediaCenter at the moment, but now I wanna take it a step further.
A friend of mine wants to go the whole nine yards over the next few months, so I'll be asking for alot of help here. For myself personally its a big learning curve and I'm very excited about it. This is the kinda stuff I love!!!! I have a passion for Linux,
Back to the topic.......
My friend has a Devon AVC-A1HD amp, it has ethernet capabilities. Hooked it up to a LinuxMCE test box. The amp has a file browser that actually sees files on the LinuxMCE BOX. But my question is can the amp be used as an MD?

The Denon AVC-A1HD Surround Amp is just that - a Surround Amp. It does have a UPNP server in it too though. But it has no functionality that would allow it to be an MD.
