1  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Problem adding Remotec z-urc as an inclusion controller on: January 04, 2013, 03:52:13 pm
Following the z-wave setup instructions wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/ZWave#SUC.2FSIS_Mode and wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Remotec_Z-URC_550EU I can't add the inclusion remote. While the remote flashes green rapidly once in learning mode, it eventually flashes the red led and no addition occurs. I have tried removing the z-wave node in the device tree, removing the Aeon z-stick, reloading the router, reconnect z-stick and follow wizard to setup. Each time I am left with a Z-Wave node in device tree, with controller, and inbuilt security and inbuilt climate device, but steps to add the remotec do not introduce any new nodes. Checking the full z-wave log from webadmin does not show any trace of the "Add node" attempt or failure.

If anyone has a similar setup or has come across this issue, the magic incantations needed will be much appreciated.

I'm using latest 10.04 based build
