Haha as foxi seems to be the Mr.Miyagi of asterisk, things looks to be sorted out one by one ;-)

Ok so the prefix is a fixed number, in sweden all area codes start with 0 so that seems like the way to go then. So if I'm gonna call number 026-123456 for example with the prefix at 0 i should dial 26-123456 ? Im i correct?  :P

HI everybody and happy holidays or as we say in sweden, God Fortsättning!

Im on 1004 and I configured my provider (affinity telecom) in phonelines and incoming calls are working as expected. Outgoing on the other hand aren't. Im getting dial tone when I'm dialing a number but the call don't arrive. My first clue is in asterisk log where i get [Dec 30 11:53:23] WARNING[26756] pbx.c: Don't know what to do with 'SIP/0X6X80X9X9-00000002'

I think as an outgoing call should look like sip:number you dial@provider server.
I noticed the option Prefix in phone lines menu, should i put something in there or is it unrelated to this error?

Best regards /Daniel

If you building your house you should wire it for KNX as wired is always more reliable than wireless. Personally I'm using NEXA with tellstick as z-wave is very expensive here in sweden. But if i would build a new house i would definitely go for KNX. In sweden KNX ups the building price about 15-20% compared to regular "dump" wiring.

Wouldn't it be cool to both have the cookie and eat it? What if a dir could be treated as a dir in the video menu. Instead of all files in the dir being showed, the dir itself could be showed first, then if you enter the dir, season, and if you enter a season, then the episodes

Media -> video -> "tv-show" -> "season" -> episode

If that would be possible then it wouldn't be a hassle with multiple drives. It´s out of my reach but maybe it could be a low priority feature request for a rainy day?

BR Daniel and BTW merry xmas to everybody

Maybe your subtitles are to low on the screen so you don't se them. Try the misc.spu_subtitle_size line, i myself use an offset of 30.
misc.spu_subtitle_size: 30

Installation issues / Re: Installation hang on second step. Please help))

Hi guliaka. Maybe its a stupid question but are you formatting and reinstalling kubuntu between each install or are you just trying the install on the same kubuntu over and over again?

If you don't want fan noise but still want a workstation at each TV i can recommend ION based computers such as the acer revo, they are very silent but still able to play 1080p. One acer revo cost almost as much as one hdmi -> ethernet .> hdmi solution, at least here in sweden.

I have vdpau under hardware acceleration and flash player 11 so i to think that it should work like a charm, but no. The problem is the same in both LMCE and kde.

I have a problem which concerns all my MDs. When I'm trying to watch flash content In firefox or Hulu the picture is so choppy that it isn't watchable, the sound is all right thou. The problem are on both 8.10 and 10.04 so it doesn't seem to be version related. My MDs are one Acer Revo r3610 (ION) hooked up to a 40" Sony plasma at 1080p and hdmi audio, and one asus eeebox (ION2) hooked up to a LG 60" plasma through a devon 3310 receiver at 1080p. I have not tried to revert to 720p because i want to know if other people have the same problem. Im using the newest flash 11 from the repo.

Best Regards //Daniel

Hi, I'm using the newest telldus-core on my 10.04 install and it works great. Are you sure your /etc/tellstick.conf wasn't overwritten when you upgraded?

Best regards, Daniel
