I've just updated everything and after deleting MD from Core and setting it up again, the video is working. Previously both VGA1 and VGA2 displayed distorted picture on the TV, now thru VGA1 i get undistorted picture on the TV and trhu VGA2 distorted. Thanks.

sorry for delay, I was out of town. Nope, its only motherboard connected to the tv set in bios to use external display.

Here is the output
Code: [Select]
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 [1002:7942]
        Kernel driver in use: radeon
        Kernel modules: radeon
09:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5756ME Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express [14e4:1674]

One other MD with the same type of motherboard is using its own(Dell latitude XT) LCD screen and this one works great.

One of my MDs is a Dell Latitude XT connected to TV via VGA port. Picture is distorted and flickering. I've lerned that its caused by kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/573290 so I tried instaling 2.6.34 kernel for ubuntu 10.04. It have fixed the problem but now lirc won't install

Qorbiter on phone some times(5-10%) "works" but all popup menus are empty and buttons for selecting user and room are showing lorem ipsum.

I can't make user name stick. I've just reinstalled 1004 from beta, recomended snapshot, latest snapshot and now I've done internet installation and on each user name is clear after reloading the router.

I just reinstalled 1004 from the same snapshot.... and internet is working.
ATI MD have distorted picture, looks similar to radio interferences but there is no such thing on 0810 so it's not hardware.
MythTV detects cards, find channels and play live tv.
Video and audio playback works.
Diskless MDs boot.

later this week I will check telephone and other MDs.

I've already reinstalled 0810 but will install 1004 on second disc tomorrow and post 70-persistent-net.rules.

Hardware works fine with 0810 installation and i double checked every piece of hardware while trying to setup 1004.

Creating annd running network_reset.sh didn't help. There were no DHCPOFFERS for eth0 and dhcp server for eth1 is giving wrong IPs.

with LMCE-1004-20120519090525976.iso I had no dhcp server working for internal network and core was unable to get data from dhcp from my modem. With connection set up manually there was still no internet. Nic is MCP78s from Nvidia. Without network i wasn't able to check diskless MDs or MythTV so only other bug I've seen was error with displaying polish characters in GUI looked like wrong character encoding.
