Users / Left click on DVD menu
« on: June 28, 2011, 10:44:37 pm »
Lately, the select left click on DVD menu stopped working.

Only when you enter the DVD menu, I can not select any options with left click.

In all other system menus, the left click works.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Users / Left click on DVD menu in Gyration air mouse
« on: June 23, 2011, 04:39:57 am »
Lately, the Gyration air mouse stopped working after I configured.

I started to edit /etc/xorg.conf and put (Option "AutoAddDevices" "False") in (Section "ServerFlags"). This solved the problem with special buttons.

Only when you enter the DVD menu, I can not select more options to double left click. In fact, I can not select any button with the mouse. I can score, but do not select the function with double click.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Thanks for trying friend, but does not work.

This system definitely has its own life! I have not informed the command of XV acceleration, but it looks there:
# ps aux | grep mplayer
# mplayer -slave -idle -msglevel all=4 -noborder -fixed-vo -fs -vo vdpau,xv ...

I compiled version, but the problem is the same: black screen with audio.

There are many bugs, faults, deficiencies. I'm almost giving up LinuxMCE  :-\

Hi everyone,

I can not keep accelerating for Xine_Player and mplayer. If I turn on VDPAU on MD, xine play .mkv fine but mplayer displays black screen on files .m2ts, but with audio.

I have tried many configurations of MD + /root/.mplayer/config + /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf, but apparently nothing works for mplayer and .m2ts files

Xine_Player play these files? If yes, how to change association these files to it?

Thanks

A new parameter in MessageSend?

I made the following modifications (uncommented) in /etc/pluto/xine.conf:
gui.subtitle_autoload: 1
misc.spu_subtitle_size: large

The video is normal, but found no way to change or display the subtitles. I tried #, j, b, +, -, etc.. etc.. etc.

I also can not change the audio track.

Thanks,

Hellow again :)

I am put in /root/.mplayer/config the follow config:
aid = 1

This works fine in "KDE -> shell -> mplayer /path/file.mkv"  -  running the second audio track

... but I have not found the right place to put this setting in LinuxMCE. I tried many settings in /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf but nothing works

I tried to create the file /home/user-LinuxMCE/.mplayer/config but does not work

Any ideia?

Users / Compile Mplayer with blu-ray support
« on: October 01, 2010, 04:57:37 am »
Please,

I'm there 6 hours trying to compile the svn version of mplayer with support for Blu-ray, but every hour is a different error. I disabled some things that had errors, but one can not disable.

Do you have the compile parameters to the MCE, there are hundreds!

Thaks,
Vagner

... for auto language selection. Where can I put this?

Thanks,

Users / Player slow when not connected to internet
« on: September 25, 2010, 04:55:11 am »
When system is disconnect from the internet, both video and audio are slow to start. How to solve this?

Two half truths:
1) There is no question of supporting or not. It's a bug. Why install the Nvidia driver if the card is not Nvidia? Should install the vesa driver;
2) The ATI developed Catalyst for Linux. I installed on Kubuntu, but it conflicts with the Nvidia driver and could not solve it.

Someone had some experience with an ATI HD 4200?

Users / Re: All players crash after install libdvdcss

Hi everyone,

For some unknown reasons almost all sound devices in /dev/snd have been deleted.

So I recreated them with /usr/share/alsa-base/snddevices and everything return to work.

But that happens every boot. You can placing the snddevices in /etc/rc.local, but some idea about the problem?

Thanks,

Vagner

Hi Dave,

Confirmed, the libdvdcss2 cause crash in players of audio, video, pictures.

I installed again (for the seventh time) and all the players stop after installation of library and reboot of machine. The curious thing is that before the reboot it works.

I removed the library, reboote and the player returned to service (ufa!! no more installations :-)

The library installed is libdvdcss2-1.2.10-0.2medibuntu1

Any idea?

Thanks,
Vagner

Hi everyone,

I have already installed the system about 6 times and always got the same problem. Now installed as veeeeery slooooow to discover the fault.

When you install libdvdcss (/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh), all players stop working: audio, video, pictures.

This library is right for playing DVDs? How to recover the players that do not work. Remove the library by "dpkg -r" not working.

Thanks,
Vagner
