Now its time for testing! ...
Let me know if anything does not work as expected.

Url: https://git.linuxmce.org/
If you ever made a SVN commit you should have received a mail containing a reset password link, it may be marked as SPAM/Junk.

i already tested following:
- Checked issues and compared with trac … like every 100th issue — CHECK
- Checked commit history back to 2010 — CHECK
- Issue overview: checked Filter — CHECK
- Git clone — CHECK
- Git commit — CHECK
- Graph, works except for Languages, maybe this could not converted — CHECK
- SSH Key — CHECK
- Milestones page complete incl. progress bar — CHECK
- E-Mail notifications work, but may end up in Junk/SPAM folder — CHECK
- SSL — A rating should be fine: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=git.linuxmce.org — CHECK -- due to proxy issues during login i disabled HTTPS for now....

if you have further questions im on irc:ochorocho

Thanks.

Hey Mike,

thanks for writing this detailes message.
I agree, me as a semi skilled programmer likes the idea of fork/pull request.
So core devs review the code i wrote i give us a "well done" by accepting the merge request.

The website is a good place to put info about contributing to LMCE: http://www.linuxmce.org/contribute.html

Cheers,

Hey ...

just wanted to let you guys know that i'm done with "trac to gitlab" and "svn to git" migration.
There is already a cronJob running once a day at 8:30am CEST pulling all data over from trac and svn.

From now on, testing begins! :-)
Let me know if you found anything weird or missing tickets and notes/changelogs.

For most users i was able to map their trac usernames to gitlab users.
I tried to merge the users as much as i could. So if i found a user in trac which had the same name in the forum, but a different e-mail i went with the forum account.

If you are not sure if/which of your accounts is still there use the forgot password feature in Gitlab.

For now Gitlab is READ ONLY! ... this will be changed as soon as everybody is happy and comfy with GIT.

LinuxMCE Gitlab installation:
http://git.linuxmce.org

Gitlab Android App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bd.gitlab

Gitlab iPhone App:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gitlab-control/id654747119?mt=8

Roadmap:
From now on, CronJob will update tickets and repos once a day. then we have at least 4 weeks of testing and playing. After that the devs decide when switch completely to git.

Let me know if you have any issues!

Thanks.

Cheers,
ochorocho

Hey Govo,

yep, i recommend a downgrade or reinstall of OC 8.0.3.

Feel free to file a ticket.
For now i'm busy doing some other LMCE related stuff.
When done i will work on the owncloud update to 8.1

Hi polly

If I understand you correctly, you want me to downgrade to 8.0.3

The owncloud of 8.1 is working see below sceen shot. its just missing the LMCE configuration as stated above.

anyways, I will downgrade to see if it works.

Hey Govo,

8.1 does not work at all atm. Just tested.
Looks like we need to rewrite some code due to API changes.
And on top of that the owncloud updater app fails with:

Code: [Select]
[Mon Jul 13 00:21:51.157664 2015] [:error] [pid 10470] [client 192.168.80.159:62859] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'OC_Appconfig' not found in /var/www/userspace/apps/updater/admin.php on line 31, referer: http://192.168.80.1/userspace/index.php/settings/personal
[Mon Jul 13 00:21:52.452262 2015] [:error] [pid 20168] [client 192.168.80.159:62863] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'OC_Appconfig' not found in /var/www/userspace/apps/updater/admin.php on line 31, referer: http://192.168.80.1/userspace/index.php/settings/personal

To get you going follow the wiki at least for OwnCloud 8.0.3: http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Linuxmce_userspace#Install_Userspace

Get the install script:

 cd /root/
 wget http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/people/ochorocho/owncloud/owncloud_setup.sh

Make it executable and run it:

 chmox +x ./owncloud_setup.sh
 ./owncloud_setup.sh setup

Make sure you have at least php 5.4

Thanks for using owncloud on LMCE.

Please test the website.
If i dont get any issue reports i will put the website online :-)

Hey ...

just upgraded following:

- SMF Forum to 2.0.9
- Mediawiki to 1.24
- TYPO3 to latest bugfix release 6.2.9
- Piwik to 2.10.0
- Debian packages updated

I have done backups for Forum and Wiki.

In case you find something missing let me know!

FYI, i'll keep on trying to get LDAP integrated. It works for Wiki, TYPO3, Piwik. But SMF Forum LDAP-Extension is still not working.

Cheers,
Jochen
