I think that groundloop would be caused by the cable touching a metal casing. It being chasis or from the Tv or Amp or DVD Player.

Something is triggering the gamepad install script.
In my case it was my logitech universal receiver.

Got this from another thread...
http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php/topic,12297.0.html

The Problem was caused by the auto-installed Gamepad.

Solution for 1004:
1. Delete all Gamepad Devices from your device tree
2. Edit /usr/pluto/bin/Gamepad_Detect.sh and add  a "exit 0" (insert it before "done")
Code: [Select]
...
sleep 5

### FIX FOR GAMEPAD
exit 0

done

3. reboot

Thanks to tschak for the solution/wokraround

L3mce,

Am I seeing it wrong, but the ID41's are Intel driven and not Nvidia???

Over the weekend I decided to upgrade the internal nic on my core to a 1G intel pro 1000.

If I understand correctly you now have 2 Pci Nics? Did you disable the onboard?
Whats the contents of /etc/default/dhcp3-server   ?

How can I get a free developer kit?

We’re distributing thousands of kits to qualified developers, because, well, we want to see what kinds of incredible things you can all do with our technology. So wow us. Actually, register to get the SDK and a free Leap device first, and then wow us.

Hari might be the first one here to get one?
