I will try the approach to inser the data directly into the DB.

I see.

Would it be possible to get the 1-Wire data using owfs for example and push them into the LinuxMCE database?

Nite_man i just had a look at your setup and there you have several 1-Wire sensors in your old setup.
What did you do to get those working? My 1-Wire order did not arrive so far but i want to be prepaired ;)

1-Wire is a bus which works with only three cables and using very cheap cables.
A temperature sensor for example is costs about 1,90 Euro.

For more information have a look at http://www.maxim-ic.com/products/1-wire/

I was not able to find anything about LinuxMCE and 1-Wire but in my opinion those are the best, simpliest and cheapest sensores you can have!
Is there something on the roadmap?

Installation issues / Hybrid is only booting into Orbiter
« on: March 12, 2010, 12:01:26 am »
Hello,
i am new to LinuxMCE and have some issues right after the installation.

The System (Hybrid) is booting and Orbiter launches. But as i saw on several videos Mythtv should be starting and playback some pictures from flickr?!
What went wrong in my installation?

Users / Re: LinuxMCE Users from Germany?

I found the German board but it really looks like it's dead.

So we have Patrick from Hannover and me from Munich.
Looks like the regular meeting doesn't work :(

I like the good old times were we had Linux-Installation-Partys ;)

Users / LinuxMCE Users from Germany?
« on: February 08, 2010, 09:34:52 pm »
Hello LinuxMCE-Users,
i am new to this forum and wanted to know if there are any users from Germany?

Maybe we could set up a regular meeting to exchange our knowledge, experience and have some beer? ;)

Regards,
