Users / Re: ZWave wizard fail on latest LinuxMCE snapshot
« on: December 13, 2010, 10:03:11 pm »
I had to re-run and remove and re-include my devices on my latest re-install of 08.10... don't know why...
First install it worked great.
Also have the Aeon z-stick

Been through all log files in /var/log and in /var/log/pluto and none of them has anything happening 8th December at 13:05 which was the time of failure.

Yes I do have a wireless phone operating at 900Mhz, but Zwave european model uses 868.42MHz.

so I'm still a little lost..

I've been trying to connect a Sharp LCD TV to my Linux MCE test setup but haven't been successful yet. Want to connect it via HDMI and/or VGA cable(w/ audio). After using setup wizard I still can't find it. Is there something else I have to configure?

This is the model: Sharp Aquos LCD TV (LC42A66M)

Have a look at my 2 models and setup.
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/User:Tortho

- None of them are detected or controlled by RS-232
- Running manual serial commands (from command line) does work
- Due to my motherboards I need to have the HDMI connected during boot for it to work. After it falls asleep it will not wake up again without a reboot.

Hi,

Okay the thread went to sleep.

Can I suggest the following:
1. Hari finds the shop he prefere and give us the price for ordering/shipping the unit.
2. We split the invoice in 3 (or more if someone else is interrested)
3. Hari PM us a bank account so we can transfer the money

Or if Hari wont expose his account then let me know when where and so on and I'll do the ordering.

Well then back to the original thread :-)

Believe this is where it "dies"...
Have been away for a few days and now it is no0t working again..
If it were a sleep issue I believe it would have appeared the first night...

Thanks both!
Have set full logging, so just have to be patient and wait for it to fail now :-)

Hi,

Aeon Labs Zstick.
It just stops working from time to time.
When I try to do a quick reload router the device fails to start (Device 112 on my core)
From the log of the device I find nothing usefull.

Anyone with hints of where to start locking for what is going wrong?
Below the last lines in the log.
Can also see in old log files that there is a lot of lines with "No callback received: awaiting_callback: xx timer: xxxxxxx"

Hari:
Are you in for the task?
If so could you either check how much the cost is in your country or let us know where you live to possibly supply a unit to avoid customs issues

Count me in on the SF-812

I have the Hauppauge HDPVR and did get the message about all inputs where in use.
I then had to create all 3 for the hd-pvr:
- Svideo
- Composite
- Component.

Then it worked.

Myth does recreate  a "tuner" which I entered earlier (manual setup) and it looks like there is no way to get rid of it...

The looping when it tries to start live tv was an issue I have had as well.

Assume you have no channels set.

Go to the channel list ans simply create a channel.
